I think the 9 1/2 would have stretched enough once worn for a few days. If I had to do it again I would have worn the 9 1/2 for a week or so in the house.

I'd heard about them on the (awful)Rush Limbaugh radio show and they sounded great. They are Australian, fully lined with soft natural sheepskin, water resistant. -- fussy husband reports that they are utterly comfortable, even in our nasty Boston winter weather.
